To launch AO's new way to pay - AO Finance - creating a set of consistent marketing assets that were fully compliant, honest and easy to understand.
Working with our Head of Compliance and Legal team, I crafted copy for the launch of AO Finance across social media, ao.com, print, radio and offsite digital advertising. Every single asset I wrote for required different levels of legals and terms and conditions, and needed a fine balance of promoting how great AO Finance is, without being seen to encourage customers to take out credit that they ultimately may not be able to afford. For every single asset I consulted with our Head of compliance to make sure we were talking about the finance offerings in the most honest and open way. I also managed the creation of UX journey copy, and the creation of all editorial and help and advice articles and FAQs.
